The work of the anterior part of the neck and the thorax is perhaps one of the most important and, at the same time, most forgotten in osteopathy.
According to the anthropological vision of homo sapiens and bipedalism, this area is a crucial part, where the phonation system adapt and also allows a larger brain capacity due to the changes assumed in the human skull.
In the course, Osteopathic Approach to the Anterior part of the Neck, Thorax and Pericardium, We will try to understand this evolutionary process, unique in our species, and to have tools for the treatment of the anterior area of the neck, pericardium and thoracic viscera.
In addition, we will investigate the emotional concepts of our brain visiting neurology, philosophy and psychology, in order to better understand what happens to our patients and how we can help them understand what happens to them in order to refer them, if necessary, to other health professionals.
